Patterning is what we call the process of moving Al’s body parts in a set pattern in order to increase the neurological connections between the hemispheres of his brain. This requires three adults. A single session of patterning lasts for 5 minutes with a 10 minute break before the next session. This happens in Al’s home 6-8 times a day.
